comic wip

Here's a test page for a comic/graphic novel ( not sure yet ) I'm working on.
From a while into the story.

No doubt the first of many, I'm going to be tweaking the shit out of the style until I'm 100% happy with it at which point I will pitch to publishers.

Constructive crit is welcome and in fact invited. The style is a work in progress and I'm open to outside ideas.

So yeah. Suggestions for improvement please. : )

Chronicles: ukulele

I got this broken-up ( gorgeous ) old ukulele at a pawn shop for 5$ and I've been fixing it...all that's left is to give it tuning pegs and string it...I can't wait to play it.

Geez but it's been a while...Anyways, surprising myself more than anyone, I made a Chronicle of Seby the other day.
One or two of you may recall I used to do those regularly for quite a while.

Hope you like it : )

And also here's a doodle I did. Not a work in progress, I left it that way.

So uh...Maybe I'll start posting again! Wouldn't that be kinda neat I guess.....

Bun Bun on a Boat

A drawing I made and then colored-in in GIMP! Hope you like it :)
More is probably coming soon.
Also I'm working on a graphic novel, so no doubt stuff from that.

On a different note, I'm thinking of taking up oil painting. Advice, anyone?

Also, I'm sorry I haven't been posting anything, but I've been reading House of Leaves. If you've read it or know someone who has, you understand. Otherwise, let me just say this; that book MESSES YOU UP. So yeah.

MARATHON HERE I GOOOOoooo

I will upload the pages I make sporadically. ( read: when I feel like it )

I will make a frame whenever I have something to say, for a MINIMUM of 1 frame per hour.

The pages/frames do not -have- to be diary-like but probably will be for the most part.

Wish me luck, it's bound to be an artistically draining experience!

Woah I draw?

I stopped drawing for months, yeah, until yesterday, I started doodling and all of a sudden I had the exact style I wanted for the first time in my life.

On the second page, the chick up top is Carla from my Allworld comics, as I originally imagined but never managed to draw her, and the dude down low is dr. Cox from Scrubs ( I drew him a suit in stead of his scrubs 'cause I felt like it. )

The rabbit is Sgt. Fluff McSteele, rabbit mercenary.

So yeah hopefully I'll keep drawing!

FISHNETS FROM HELL page 1

So as promised, today I begin posting one full page of comics every mon-wed-fri until I either laze off, find different projects, start to hate THIS project, or become rich and don't care any more. So this is the first page, it's a Black Bear and Skinny Joe case called "Fishnets from Hell"... There are several more pages after it.

I should probably have like...A cover-type page before this one but...I don't. So next time I guess.

It is decided.

Starting monday, I will post a completed page of comic-bookery every monday, wednsday and friday.
Sometimes they will be sequential, sometimes not. I'm not setting goals for a specific comic or anything, just a page three times per week.

Yep, for certain.
